What is Baliville
The property known as Baliville is located approximately 2 kilometers (1.24 miles) south-southwest of the town of Sayulita in the State of Nayarit in Mexico. Enclosed in an area known as “El Aguacatal” (by the avocado trees) near Pascuarito beach, Baliville’s jungle location makes this property a beautiful jewel set in pristine surroundings. Mexico's environmental laws, ensuring a natural landscape into the future, protect both the flora and fauna that surround and compose Baliville.
Each house is made of hand-hewn teak wood and imported from the islands of Java, Indonesia. They were painstakingly rebuilt in Baliville and showcase the lovely patina developed over their 100+ years in Indonesia. Additions constructed of Mexican double red brick make them spacious, and red tile roofs, massive carved wooden beams, and other stunning architectural features from Morocco and Indonesia have created unique homes that blend with their natural surroundings. The approval of the project by Mexico’s environmental legislation proves a low ecological impact development.

If
you choose to spend the day at the beach. A short walk from Baliville takes you to a sandy beach where you may come across whales jumping, or for certain, pelicans flying above the surf. Or, you may walk an easy one mile to the town of Sayulita. A vibrant plaza still exists here-- where young ones meet for the first time, the surf crowd talks of “double overheads” and the old timers gather to tell tales at the end of the day. Gringos and locals alike delight in its charms. Click on (
